Race: Vampiric aerian (winged near-human)
Height: 5' 1"

Quote: "*snicker*"

Her cute and innocent looks mean Serapha tends to get underestimated, even though she's actually anything but innocent and wields her cuteness with considerable skill. Standing barely over five feet tall, looking barely sixteen and with the white wings of an angel, the only jarring note is the obvious pair of fangs. Not that she goes about assaulting people for their blood - she prefers to acquire her meals in other, more interesting ways...

Serapha is firmly ensconced as a quiet power behind the scenes, which has ensured most people know very little about her. She followed Admiral Jordanis from his native Pentere, where she had been serving as his "personal assistant", and continues that role in FLEET. Most of the time she can be found lurking somewhere near him in a manner best described as "predatory". Their relationship is a peculiar one, and all kinds of interesting rumours have been passed around about it. Her unexpected expertise in the use of assorted restraints during a rather spectacular "debate" in Speculation Alpha has certainly fuelled some of the wilder rumours, but Serapha's only comment on the issue is that she's quite glad that FLEET allows inter-command fraternization. Other FLEET commanders tend to whistle thoughtfully whenever the subject comes up.

Once one delves into the past of the apparently-young vampire, one gets caught up in a long and complicated narrative. She can claim status as a native of four different worlds, in two, or possibly three completely different universes. Somewhat reticent about the details, "Spark" has let it slip that her original home is a place with strong magic, and she herself is a gifted mage...and four thousand years would be a lot of time to get into trouble in. It's also a lot of time to make allies in, giving her connections - some in very unexpected places, giving her the extensive eyes and ears needed to maintain her delicate role.

Her official rank is that of a lowly captain, and she has quietly avoided further promotion, preferring to stay away from the public scrutiny that comes with high rank. She'd rather just quietly influence things from behind the scenes, which, most of the time, means she does little with her network of influence and ability. But when she needs to, she starts pulling strings and things start happening....
